Margarita and Ed is a couple from Mexico and the USA. Margarita is from Mexico and Ed is From the USA. When Ed wanted to move to Mexico they got married and started to look for good land in so many places in Mexico until they find a beautiful place in El Panchan Palenque. They started out by building 3 cabanas and travelers started to stay with them. After two years 2 guys from Israel came and they say they will recommend the place and two weeks later 12 people show up from the recommendations and we only had 3 cabanas. Since then the place has grown a little more… to 3 cabanas and 14 rooms beautiful room without AC and 5 rooms with AC. Margarita and Ed has been recommended in the Lonely planet, Rough Guide, Foot Print, many more tourist guides and most importantly by the travelers who have been there.
Margarita is a very nice, warm and welcoming host and is always giving her costumers good recommendations of nice places to go and amazing things to see. The place has pure water for the costumers to drink and books for exchange. In the small "village" of El Panchan there are 3 restaurants and live music every night a laundry service, tourist agencies and bicycles for rent. Since the trees grew so high there is no more internet and the telephone lines only work when there is no rain. So.. you may try to call 916-348-4205 or 916-102-9090.
